These guidelines are put in place to make sure Creators are using the studios as intended, respecting the equipment, and that the experience of other guests is not compromised. By placing your booking, you are agreeing to the following rules:

1. Respect the booking schedule – Only use the studio during your reserved time. Show up on time and wrap up promptly to avoid overlaps
2. Keep it clean – No food or drinks near the equipment (water in sealed bottles is okay). Take your trash with you when you leave
3. Treat gear with care – Handle mics, headphones, mixers, and other gear gently
4. No unauthorized guests – Only bring pre-approved guests into the studio. Let us know ahead of time (in your checkout form) if you’re recording with someone
5. No musical instruments – This ensures that your content is not disrupting others in surrounding studios
6. No adjusting/switching out cameras or lighting – Adjusting cameras/lighting can mess things up for following Creators. By booking at Kit Studios, you are agreeing to use the AV equipment set up provided. You are free to bring in your own free standing lights, mics, etc. but you cannot unplug/adjust any studio equipment
7. No animals – We love furry friends! However, due to the expensive equipment, furniture, and building rules, we ask that you leave them at home. Registered service animals are of course welcome
8. No smoking – Due to building rules, we ask that you do not smoke in the recording studios
9. No standing on furniture – We love our space! We ask that you please respect the furniture to keep it looking great for all recordings
10. No explicit content – No content created that is pornographic in nature is allowed at Kit Studios. We provide privacy via curtains, but you must remain fully clothed at all times while using our spaces and equipment
11. No illegal content or activity – No illegal activity or content that encourages illegal behavior (I.e. illicit drugs) is allowed in the studios
12. No strong odors – We know everyone has their favorite perfume or cologne, but because this is a shared space, we kindly ask that you avoid anything with strong scents before your recording.

Violation of these rules can result in recording privileges at Kit Studios being revoked.
