Located in Manhattan’s Flatiron District, Kit Studios NYC gives creators access to professional podcast studios, video recording studios, interview sets, and content creation spaces.

Whether you’re recording a podcast, filming YouTube content, creating courses, or hosting interviews, our studios are designed for professional-quality production without the traditional studio rental costs.

Each space has custom art available via museum gallery hanging system so you can swap in your own pieces to make the room totally yours.

Wildest Dreams

The solo energy of this room matches its name. Wildest Dreams is about being completely in your own head, your own vision, your own moment. That's exactly what you're doing when you're in here alone.

Actually Romantic

This one-person room is for creators recording alone: podcasts, talking-head videos, livestreams, teleprompter reads, voiceovers. Just you, the mic, and the work, showing up anyway. That's actually romantic.

Equipment: 1 camera, a teleprompter, and a mic with a desk set up.

Blank Space

Blank Space is a one-person setup where you can step into whatever world you want to create. Walk in with nothing and build the scene around you. The virtual background in the room is a blank space waiting for your next video.

Equipment: Sony FX3, Shure SM7B, Elgato XL Teleprompter, virtual background screen, iPad scene switcher lets you move from backdrop to backdrop without breaking your flow.

Lavender Haze

The Mad Men reference just feels like this two-person room. The room and the reference live in the same era with classic NYC exposed brick and vintage teak office furniture.

Equipment: 3 Sony FX30 cameras (1 wide, 2 solo shots), Sigma Art lenses with f/1.8 aperture for shallow depth of field on solo shots.

How do I reserve a studio?

Head to kit.com/studios/bookings to see available times and book your session.

How many studios are at the NYC location?

Six professionally equipped rooms — podcast, video, and multi-person setups.

How far in advance can I book?

You can book up to 3 months in advance. We require at least 24 hours advance notice for bookings. Need a session sooner? Please email the studio directly: studios-nyc@kit.com for NYC, studios-chicago@kit.com for Chicago, or studios-boise@kit.com for Boise.

How long are sessions?

Sessions booked at Kit Studios NYC are a maximum of three hours.

Can I bring guests or co-hosts?

Yes. Studios vary in capacity, from solo recording spaces to rooms built for groups. Check each studio’s details when booking.

What equipment is provided?

All Kit Studio NYC equipment will be set up and ready for you. The only thing you need to bring is an SSD external hard drive to record your content on.

Is there parking nearby?

New York City’s Chelsea and Flatiron District offer street parking, though this is limited. We recommend a nearby parking garage or taking public transit.

What's the closest subway stop?

Kit Studios NYC is conveniently located near the MTA subway stops at 28th St (1/2/3 lines) or 23rd St (C/E lines).

How do I cancel or reschedule my booking?

Plans change, and rescheduling is no problem. Just give us 24 hours’ notice and you won’t be charged anything. Cancel inside that window more than once, or don’t show up, and you’ll be charged a $25 late fee. Manage your booking here.

Are the studios soundproofed?

Yes. All studios are professionally sound-treated for clean, high-quality audio recordings.
